winding down

Company is gone and a nice sunny day today. Boy was I beat last night.  Laid across the guest room bed to watch tv and fell asleep... I was in bed for 12 hours!!! But it was a lovely holiday.

Hubby really understood love of quilting and so did family and friends. Missing in the photo is a new 6x24 ruler and a wide ironing board. My daughter in law (who isn't a quilter) said she just loved the book....it has great recipes. She said she is thinking about pulling out her sewing machine after she visited a quilt shop to buy for me.
To top it off, on Christmas Eve I got a package of fabric from Keepsake Quilting which I had ordered....great holiday for a quilter.
