my left foot...

and the right too....have been having foot problems lately which has cramped my style but a trip to the podiatrist is scheduled for this afternoon,

It has been busy lately though and I haven't even had much time to post or even visit blog friends. In the last week I hosted my quilt  beeand went to a guild meeting. In between times I have been working on my scrappy quilt. I so enjoy the ladies in my bee. Hubby says that we are quite noisy and only stop talking and laughing when we are eating. We start with a little coffee/tea treat, sew a little, eat lunch, sew a little more, snack, and sew a little more!

Thursday my Seaside Applique guild went to lunch and had a tour of Lavender Fields. If you ever visit southern Delaware it is a place you might like to put on your tour. There are gardens you can tour and of course all kinds of lavender related products including relaxing soaps and culinary lavender. Be sure to click on the link. Thinking about purples and lavender, I was reminded that I was really into purple for a while. At the right is a picture of a yoyo quilt that I put together. I have some backing for it but just haven't gotten around to doing the finishing. Perhaps that will be a winter project. My problem is that I get new ideas and want to begin them and sometimes let other projects fall by the wayside.

Oh Kathy I know how that foot pain is. My podiatrist made a strapping t5hat I can put on or offd it really helps me I bought at her suggestion those SAS shoes for over 100.00 and they didn't help at all. Biggest adjustment for me was no bare feet. Hope you get some fast relief for next week. I am so bummed out that I can't go, but he promised we would go up for a couple of days when his pinched nerve is taken care of. Have a great time and don't spend too much money LOL

Hope the doctor does something today to give you some relief. The yo-yo quilt looks terrific.....even without backing! LOL

I hope you get some help with your foot. I don't like pain of any kind but the worst pains are your feet, back or teeth. If any of these hurt, it seems like you hurt all over.

Your purple yo yo quilt is lovely.

I know what you mean about starting new projects before the older ones are finished. It's like they just call your name and won't stop until you give in. Then, you feel guilty...it's a never ending circle but I do it all the time!

Wish I lived near you and could be a part of your bee. Sounds like my kind of day.

Those purple yo-yos are wonderful! I admire your perseverance in making and joining all of them. Hope you get some relief and resolution from the doctoring. And speaking of problems, I have the same one as you when it comes to wanting to start new projects. Sometimes I feel guilty at how many are underway at once. The trouble is, everything interests me and I want to try all the quilting techniques I can.
