how sweet it is

After a great evening with friends, campfire and conversation, I am packing for a week of quilting in Lancaster PA with my quilting buddies....can't get better than this. I am sure I will have some pictures to upload from that trip...must get packing

Wanted to post a picture. This is just a little quilt that I made a while ago and donated to an auction.

Have a wonderful time! I was at Burkholder's yesterday and they have added more fabric. Don't forget to take your coupon!!

Ah I envy you. I was there 3 years ago with our quilt guild. Came down by bus. Stayed in Lancaster. Took in the quilt festival. Boy you can't beat their prices on fabric.

Where are you going for your week of quilting? We go for weekends and stay at a place called White Oak, near Strasburg. Be sure to check out a new store in Intercourse calle Bitty Kinna. It's owned by a lovely woman who is the former owner of Burkholder's. Because she lives above the store, she's even open on Sunday, and will open in the evening by apppointment if you have a group that is interested in coming in to shop. Just down the street from (and on the same side as)Old Country store. Here's a link: http://www.bittykinna.com/

Have a womderful time with your week of sewing!!
