Since I got my GO cutter on Thursday, I have been busy making blocks....One of my favorite blocks is a star block...and I found these to be quick and easy to make with the die that comes with the GO. They end up being 8 inch blocks...I made these and have about twice as many cut out and ready to sew. I went through some of my scrap tubs and just cut away. It won't take me long to have enough blocks for a queen sized quilt. I will probably add sashing that will not be cut with the GO but that won't take long to cut.
I did more than just sew over the last couple of days. Earlier today we went to Coast Day sponsored by the U of DE. We went early, thankfully, before it started to rain. I pity those who were there later in the day. At least most of the displays were under big tents.
Last night we went to a dinner theater to see "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" presented by Second Street Players in Milford, DE. This is the community theater to which the Snowman wall hanging is being donated for a raffle (see an earlier post).
I have also been having fun "meeting" new blogging friends through the FALL INTO FALL GIVEAWAY. It has been a challenge to keep up with all the comments and new blogs that I have been visiting. If I haven't commented on your blog be assured that I have at least looked at your posts. My computer has been rebelling a little.
Until next time.....

Your blocks are amazing. I hope one day to have a GO! so can cut all the odd pieces of my mother's small scraps into something usable for her. I've entered your fall-into-fall giveaway.
I have been looking at the Go and wondering which dies would be a good start - the geometric sets peak my interest. Great giveaway! susan(at)mathisons(dot)org

we love our Go Cutter, named Buster. I;m finding I'm less likely to throw out bits of fabric because I think - That can be cut on the flower die or used as lamb feet.
