it's official

#197

It's official ...beach tourist season is over, kids are back in school, and it is time to hang my fall quilt. But that means getting out the stepstool and having hubby help me....he is resting on the couch now so I suppose I will wait until this evening... This is a close up of one of the blocks.
Instead, I will go in and clean up my quilting space....it really needs to be cleaned!!!

The next production at Second Street Players (our community theater) is Cat on a Hot Tin Roof....Bill and  I are taking a break for this performance but we are going to attend and usher. It will be the first and second weekends in October. The cast is great..... Just to get you in the theater mood, here is a little wall hanging I made for hubby last Christmas.

The wall hanging looks great! I remember when you were working on it up in Lancaaster, and here we are getting ready to go up there again.

Gary and I will be away those 2 weekends...so I'm glad you and Bill aren't in that show. I'd hate to miss it! See you in the morning!

Your fall quilt and others I've seen are inspiring me! After my weekend in NJ I'll need to do some fall decorating! Maybe even fall sewing, although with my finishing rate I think I may start Christmas things!!!

I can almost smell Autumn. My favorite season. Looking forward to decorating as well.

Nice masks! I am a "fall-girl" as well,so as autumn is on it`s way, I do in fact look forward to the fresh air and clear light. Super daylight for stitching:-)
Happy Quilting to you.
