So instead, I'm posting pictures of the quilts I entered in the quilt show. I didn't win any ribbons but I was really pleased with the judge's comments. Very complimentary and the comments for improvement were helpful....little things I didn't think of. So many people have told me that it is a good thing to have your quilts judged. I believe them now. I was much more critical of my own work than the judge!
There is a great give away at PUMPKIN PATCH PRIMITIVE QUILT SHOPPE. But don't go there just for the giveaway. It is a great site that I'm sure you'll love!

I'm lucky enough to have seen these two quilts in person and they are both WONDERFUL. The larger one is all hand-quilted!!!
I'm always trying to get my friends to enter their projects in the Fair, but they fear criticism. How else do we learn? I always appreciate the comments of the judges. But like you say, we are our own worst critics.
I love your quilts and yes I would give you an A+ on both of them!! Quilting is so much fun!!!
I feel like I am reading about myself! I was in education and always wanted to do something artsy but never had the time. I am now a doting Nana of two grandsons. I keep them every day so I don't have as much time to quilt as I would like but I always have a good time. Your quilts are beautiful.
Yes, we are our own worst critic...The quilts are beautiful!
It was decided that judges don't comment on quilts here anymore..But i think it's good to have it pointed out to you where you could improve on a quilt..
