My pictures aren't the greatest. There was a large crowd so I really couldn't get any pictures of them while they were presenting but I did get a few snapshots of their quilts.
I have also been posting about my Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt...thought I might give you a preview of one of the flowers. Most of the flowers are in the top 
now and I am getting ready to fill in the edges with more of the white.

Much more is done than shows in this picture!!Well, it's late and I'm tired....hubby and I spent most of the day getting ready to get our taxes done on Tuesday....I hate all the paperwork sorting!!! ....and dreading the bad news from the accountant!!!! I guess I'll get ready for bed.

I"m glad you had a nice time. I know some from the guild were going. We were to have our friend's husband for dinner (as she is in the hospital recovering from joint replacement), but he cancelled out at rather the last minute and opted to eat at the hospital instead (even though his wife had asked me to have him to dinner). Had I known he was going to do that, I'd have gone to the talk, also. Your flower garden is looking VERY nice!
What a wonderful program. How creative for them to combine the history and the quilts.
And the flower garden quilt is lovely. What alot of work. Are you restoring it, or making the entire thing?

Your flower garden is gorgeous - do you get a little bored doing all the light piecing hexies - that's where I usually get bogged down!

What an interesting evening. All I know about the underground railway and quilts is what I've read in the Elm Creek series.
