This is a picture of a tea cup from my collection sitting on a vintage doily.I noticed that many of my fellow quilting bloggers also like tea and tea parties. I began blogging a year ago this month so to celebrate, I am hosting a virtual tea party.
Here is how it will work:
My friend, Pat, will be joining me at my home on Friday, January 30 at 2:00 PM for tea.
We, of course, will talk quilting.
We are inviting you to also have a cup of tea with us. You can do this alone or with some quilting friends. (Since time may be a factor, you can have your tea any time between 12 AM on January 30 and 11:59 PM on January 31.)
Take a picture of your tea...cups, goodies, guests, etc....post the picture on your blog if possible.
Comment to my January 30 blog to share your experience.
As a party favor, on February 1st I will randomly choose a guest from those who comment to receive a special little gift.

I am the guest at her tea party and it will be FUN, I'm sure!!! I hope others will join us and have their own tea parties during that time period!

I wish I could be there in person, but a virtual tea party will be almost as fun!

What fun! I will have a tea party in my little shop, which is my sanctuary.
How cool. However, I'm a southern girl here and only drink sweet tea. Does that count? lol
Pat sent me over and I think this is such a great way to celebrate your blog anniversary. I am sure it will take over the blogs soon.

This is a great idea. My best "tea friend" lives 5,000 km away so maybe I can get her to have tea and snap a picture too!
I think I can "be there". Looks like 2:00 on Friday is free so I will plan to be there for tea! Sorry, I have this thing about rhyming. :-)

A tea party what a lovely way to celebrate. I'll be in that. I don't have any special tea cups but my mugs work well for a big drink. Enjoy you tea with Pat on Friday, (she sent me over here) Catchya Friday for Tea.
