For the giveaway, I am going to let the winner choose from two simple patterns we designed to introduce quilters to the GO cutter. Of course, one could use the patterns for rotary cutting but it is much simpler and quicker to use the GO. I will include fabric to use with the chosen pattern. You'll just need batting and backing. Both of these use the value die which comes with the GO and the 2 1/2 inch strip cutter. It is so easy to make half square triangles with the GO!
The first is a red, white, and blue wallhanging that is perfect for patriotic holidays. It is approximately 18"x18"
The second is a fall wallhanging using the popular maple leaf block. It is approximately 22"x22". Note the flying geese on the borders!
Here's what you need to do. You must be a follower (no international entries this time). If you have a GO cutter, leave a comment on this post that tells about your favorite die or a die you would like to try. If you do not have a GO, that's ok. Just leave a comment telling about the favorite block you like to make. Comments must be made by midnight (EST) September 15. That's one week from today!

Very cute patterns. I really love the leaf pattern. I do not have a GO. And I really like basket patterns.
I'm fond of scrappy so the leaf patterns would be great to have ...if I had a cutter.

Both patterns are so cute. I do have a baby Go but only have the triangles so far. WOuld love to get some of the critters shapes or holiday shapes someday.
Love your patterns! My favorite is the maple leaves! SOOOO fall! I do not have a GO, but my local fabric store has one to rent by the half hour. Would love to get my feet wet with the pattern and fabric! Thanks for a chance.

Love the Maple Leap wall hanging! I don't have a Go! I love to rent one when I have something to cut. I'd love to make a tumbler quilt and the Go! is the way to go for that project!

Both are very cute but really love the leaf one since it has fallish colors and thats my favorite time of year. I dont have a GO, (boo) but would love to get one some day. Thanks for the chance to win.
I'm Go-less but have a strip cutter and rulers. ONE DAY - I will be a proud Go owner. Until then can beg and borrow. I like the Maple Leaf.
