Last chance

Tomorrow is the last time you will be able to enter my giveaway announced in my March 8th post. As promised, I am posting a picture of the gifts.
The winner will receive a wallhanging pattern I bought in Florida, a pressing bar I bought at a quilt show, an Amish decoration from one of my favorite places (Lancaster, PA), a spool of 100% cotton thread from Connecting Threads, a 4 1/2 inch square ruler ( because I have 2), and a fat quarter of blue fabric I bought in Florida because it reminded me of the water at the Gulf Coast beaches. Remember to comment on the MARCH 8th post and tell me about your quilting buddies if you have any. If you don't have a special quilting buddy, I am glad you are joining in on the blogging fun.

Also, be sure to visit SewCalGal's blog to learn about the 2011 Golden Quilters' Awards. You can vote for your favorites in several different categories. If you don't have a special Quilt Shop - Physical of your own, it would be nice if you would check out Serendipity Quilt shop in Dagsboro, DE. Kathy, the owner, has developed such a great shop. The shop opened a little over 2 years old and already she has outgrown her shop and is moving to a bigger and better one. People travel for miles just to get to the shop. You can check it out a by clicking http://www.serendipityquiltshop.com/. Nevertheless, be sure to check out the voting site as there are opportunities for prizes you can win!

By the way, what did you do today on NATIONAL QUILTING DAY?  I worked on some applique pieces.

I stupidly made the mistake of starting the multi-day task of cleaning and rearranging the sewing room, so I was able to do NO sewing today. :(
