The snow storm chased us out of our house. We were without power since 1 a.m. and the house just got too cold and no telling when we would be able to have heat. Thanks to our wonderful children we are in a warm place, the American  Inn, not far from our house.  My daughter in law's friend's mom is the manager and she found us this room....the last one to be had! Then our son had  one of his friends pick us up in his work vehicle to bring us here....the roads were terrible.  We'll worry about how to get home "tomorrow " as Scarlet O'Hara would say. The kids live about two hours from us and did all arranging long distance. They are really great kids!
People are without power all over the Mid-Atlantic...
