Door prizes

I promised a little gift to those who commented about attending my virtual tea party. I have decided to send out two gifts. Each person will receive 1/2 yd of a teapot fabric by Timeless Treasures and another little surprise tucked inside!

The lucky guests are Linda B from Fiber Fabrications and Susan from Hanging on by a Needle and Thread. Be sure to visit their blogs!!

Tomorrow is our guild meeting and I will be taking the project I made for our Australian fat quarter challenge. The fabric was so pretty, I struggled for ages about what pattern to make. I chose several but could not bring myself to cut the fabric into small pieces. We were told we could make anything we wanted from the fabric so I decided to make a tote bag. First is a picture of the fabric then a picture of the tote. The brown fabric is from the Elm Creek line - Elizabeth's Collection by Jennifer Chiaverini. The inside is the same fabric.
I'm pooped after working today so I guess I won't get much quilting done...but I will definitely do some...can't go a day without!

Oh, Goody, I'm so excited to be a winner. And I love the tea pot fabric.
I can understand why you didn't want to cut into that Australian Fabric. It's really lovely.
I'm having that problem with alot of mine right now.

The tea pot fabric is beautiful and the perfect fabric for a tea party prize! Thank you!

I would have had trouble cutting into the Aussie fabric too, but the bag is the perfect way to show it off! Nice job!
